David + Aly // Venice Beach Engagement Session

With only a couple of days left before the big day, we headed out to Venice Beach to shoot David and Aly's engagement session. Being photograph by someone you just met that day or talked to for an hour is usually hard for many people to get comfortable with right away. However, it didn't take long to get genuine smiles from these two :) Thanks for showing us the little nooks in Venice! We'll see you again soon!

Got to hang around with these two love birds on one nice afternoon. And one place that I love shooting in is at the Disney Concert Hall. No matter how many times I go there, I always find something different to shoot in. Mandy and Son was a little bit shy at first but quickly warmed up in front of the camera. Thanks for letting me boss you guys around ;). I'll see you guys again in July!!

Loving your job is one thing but loving your job and being able to visit back home at the same time is truly a blessing. When Kelly and Richard asked me to do their wedding...i didn't think twice. Not only will I be in Texas to visit the family but i will be shooting an awesome wedding as well. When we met these two at New Orleans, LA to shoot their engagement session i knew right there then that i will have a blast on their special day.

Special thanks to Erwin Wijanto who flew from Seattle to second with me and to Khanh Ng for assisting. But more importantly thanks to Richard and Kelly for allowing me to be a part of your celebration.

I've met these two from another wedding that I shot in. To say the least I didn't know how crazy it was going to get knowing how crazy these two CAN get. Their wedding was held at the Cree Estate in Palm Springs where we were lucky enough the heat cooled down come ceremony time. I want to thank my second shooter Livi Delavictoria for coming up and shooting this partay with me.

I spent an afternoon with Noah and Kristin around Beverly hills. I couldn't really ask for much. Aside from their good looks, they were naturals. On top of that, they took

me to Sprinkles to take home some cupcakes. I can't wait to shoot their wedding next year!

What a perfect setting for these two at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Beach. An intimate beautiful ceremony overlooking the ocean with 8 total guests definitely suits these 2 simple sweet pair. Although small and short, we definitely went home with some great moments and memories for Greg and Yi.

Had some fun with these two just walking around the nice beach of Newport and around Balboa Island. They flew in from the Philippines for a family member's wedding, but I like tootin' my own horn a bit and think that they flew in just so that they can do a session with me ;)..haha

These two love birds are actually getting married in the homeland next year and I wish I can be flown in to shoot their wedding. But just incase you change your mind...I'm still available, =) Enjoy my take of the session..

I have always wanted to shoot a birth session, despite the known fact that every time I step in to get a flu-shot, I *ALWAYS* have to have someone hold my hand. But all this phobia quickly dissipated the moment I heard the first subtle cries of baby Sid. The queasy feeling in my stomach gone, for the moment.

All I saw was the spark of joy in Martin's eyes under the mask that was covering his, I bet, huge smile and the hints of little tear drops on Sylvia's pillow case from her watery eyes. That and the "Circle of Life" song humming through my head.

Enjoy some of my take and congratulations to the Sanders' for the new baby boy they brought home. I bet Ethan will be an awesome big bro....

Lately it has been blazing hot, but luckily for us we got some clouds in the skies that made this wedding even cooler! I've never met anyone who held custom parties outside of halloween. So when they mentioned all these not your typical parties they throw, I knew we would be in for a treat. Come wedding day they didn't disappoint when the wedding guest hummed to the bridal march as Rose was walking down the isle. Or that their center pieces represented the characters that they dressed up in the parties(Can we say Cheetara?? MEeow). All in all this was one of the most unique weddings that we've ever shot in and so glad to be a part of it. Want to thank my second Ari Simphoukham for helping out with the coverage.

This weekend was a very gorgeous day with nice cool winds under a warm sun. But what made this day even better was the celebration of Mary and Scott's wedding. My good friend Ari Smphoukham did a phonomenal job second shooting with me and all 6 of Mary's bridesmaids (all her sisters) were not shy in front of the camera at all! We started out at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown San Jose before heading out to St. Victor's for the ceremony.

The first time we met these two, we knew they were going to be a fun couple. We just didn't know how much. Throughout the session they were just full of laughter. Vinh with his big grin and Lanna had this gorgeous smile. We spent the day walking around open fields and ended our day at the Griffith Observatory. Can't wait for your wedding day in October at Laguna Beach.
